My husband got me (Coyote really though) a "Kaytee Pet EZ Care Floor Activity Center" for Christmas and Coyote loves, loves, loves it. It's basically one of those metal playgyms on a rolly cart with a metal skirt (which I don't use, it makes it too big and awkward). My husband also put it together for me and it's perfect. I wrapped thick jute twine and then coban (vet wrap) over the top wire so Coyote can grip it and have wrapped other parts with coban so he can climb everywhere very easily. It's tall enough to be safe around my geriatric cat so Coyote spends most of his time there while we're in the living room. Since my kiddo is sick, we've been home bound so he's spending 90% of his time on it, climbing around, playing and snoozing. This thing gets a definite thumbs up from me.
I really need to figure out how to get the budgies out here so they can enjoy it too but it's a logistic mess with my poor old senile cat. I will figure something out.

The internet says it looks like this:
That looks like super duper birdie fun alright. Lots of places to hang dangly toys too.

It's similar but not quite that model. Same basic idea though. Yeah, he loves crawling all over it and I have a rope swing, a boing, a hanging basket with toys in it and other little toys hanging here and there. I use a bridge to link it to the side of my couch where I have a little table top perch. He is loving this whole setup and I am really enjoying watching him enjoy it. Is that nerdy? I'm a bird nerd.

Oh, I think I know why the pic you posted looks different, that's the large version and I got the small version. Some variations in the design and, well, smaller. Like I said, I didn't put the skirt on because I've decided I'm not a fan of those. They take up so much space and I just don't like the way they look. I'm fine sweeping up.
