Hmmm, I think I might buy it. It looks pretty good. And plus, i can use it for what i wanted: getting tiels fast and easy. I'll ask my uncle to get me the biggest one available.

Oh, and BTW, that cage is super fancy compared to the cages they sell here. Like, for real. Hahaha! :D

I have that cage. It's really good for the price. I didn't have any problems with mine.

I'm not really sure but I think the bigger size might be something like $35 at the bird mart. Lori Lister will probably have it and it's possible that other vendors might too. She doesn't have a sign with her name on it, but her display looks similar to this, with a bunch of shelves and racks and 50% off signs. She has a lot of big cages too which makes it easy to identify her area. She might not have the small ones like this on display, but she will probably have them still folded up in the box and if you ask her she will get one out. The bird club bought a whole box of them from her at the spring bird mart. We use them a lot at our raffles.

The bird mart is a great place for cages! I found a great one twice the size of the budgies' cage for $30, but I couldn't get one. Bird vendors buy cages on wholesale, which is just spectacular might I add and sell them cheap.

Bird marts are a great place for everything. The birds themselves are about a quarter of what you'd pay at Petsmart. Pretty much everything is cheaper than a pet shop - cages, food, toys, and other supplies.

Same here, JustCoco!. It looks like a paradise for me. I probably need to do some research to see if they hold a bird mart around here.

Yes, the big bird marts in the spring and fall are always on a Sunday, and the small one in the summer is always on a Saturday. The next one is on Sunday October 18. The best time to be at the bird marts is first thing in the morning, before the best stuff is sold, so if you could manage that you would have the rest of the day to get back home (if there's enough time for that).

B, here are a couple of websites with listings of bird fairs in Florida.
http://www.exoticbirdevents.com/bird-events.htm
http://www.suncoastexoticbirdfair.com/N ... get_3.html

It's possible that there might be others that aren't listed here. There's a list of bird clubs in Florida at http://www.birdchannel.com/bird-communi ... ing.aspx#F

If you can find one that's reasonably close to your area, they might be able to tell you more about nearby events. It's common for these lists to be out of date so some of these clubs might not actually exist any more or new ones might have popped up.
