So I found this guy who makes these really good hand-made cages. Not only do they look great, but they also seem quite practical.
phpBB [video]

After poking around on his YouTube channel, I found his online etsy shop, where he sells them for pretty good prices, considering what they are.

My only concern is the fact that they're made with wood, and how a lot of parrots like to chew on wood. Other than that, they seem durable, and I especially like how easily the trays seem to slide out (Joey's cage tray is a pain to remove).

I've read the reviews, and literally every single one is 5 stars.

So I'm wondering what you guys think. Do they look like good cages?

It looks like a good cage for a canary or finch. A parrot would turn it into toothpicks, so it's not good to put something like that anywhere that Lucy can reach it!

Definitely for non chewers. My entire flock would see that as a toy!

That's what I thought too. I've mainly been looking for one for Joey, because not only does the non-removable grated bottom bug me, but it's also really flimsy, and hard to clean, because the tray doesn't come out very easily.
