Squeebis, Henry, Elvis, Prissy and Mims have been temporarily moved to a different bedroom, to encourage them to pair up with each other instead of pursuing hopeless romances. But first I had to make some stuff to turn it into a safe, suitable birdroom. First I replaced the regular solid door with a screen door so I could keep them contained and easily see what was going on:

Then I made a protective screen for the arched window so I wouldn't have to worry about birds going splat against the glass:

I'm very happy with my temporary bird room, but the inhabitants are trying to figure out how to get back to the main bird room. They'll settle down before too long and then I'll find out whether any of them want to give me some babies.

Nice! :D now maybe some of them will finally pair up.

Is Elvis and Priscilla still looking like a potential pair, or did they stop with the "preen me" stand-offs?

I don't think there have been any allopreening standoffs since I moved them to the new bird room, because they haven't settled down enough yet. But they'll probably start again and maybe actually do some actual head-preening this time, unless Prissy gets a new boyfriend first. She seems to be kind of interested in Squeebis, who has never had eyes for anybody but Teela up until now. But Teela's not there for him to look at any more so maybe he'll notice that there are other hens in the room.

I noticed you put three males and two females in there. Is that because the other single females are related to Henry and/or squeebis?

I have a total of 6 girls and 7 boys, so I'm a hen short in any case. The only other hen I have that could be classified as single is Snowy - she's paired up with Vlad who doesn't know how to mate. I don't want to break Vlad's heart by taking away both of his mates, and he likes Snowy better than Mims. Plus Snowy is the sister of Henry and Squeebis, so the odds are high for another incest pairing if I put her in there. Snowy has a prominent bald spot and had angel wing as a baby for no known reason, so she's not the strongest candidate for breeding anyway.

I am really impressed with the screen door.

To tell you the truth, I'm impressed with it too. It fits PERFECTLY in the doorway. I didn't really expect that lol. I never made holes to fit a doorknob in before and wasn't sure that I could do an adequate job of it. It would never pass for a professional job but it worked. And I still have all my fingers. I'm always a little nervous around power saws.
