It looks great! Do you have any long bird ladders? That can help him get up into the higher parts of the cage after falling down while he's learning how to use his body. A perch placed at a slant will work too.

I do not have any long ladders. I was going to buy one though.

Also, Cheerio beat me to it! He already started climbing his cage. He made it exactly half way through. He perched on natrual perch which I scraped with a knife to rough it up. He likes rope perches too! He's growing too fast. I love this bird!

He's very talented! It takes longer for cockatiel chicks to figure out how to climb cage bars.

Luv the set up.... why not add branches,
and flowers to his cage....your in the right
place to collect lots of foliage.....
He can then hide,eat, play what ever in it....
I've seen some very nice cages done this way on
the net....only problem being you'll have
to replace the fresh branches etc every 2-3days....

I don't have any safe trees in my yard. Also, I don't trust people. They could have used pesticides. I bought a lemon tree mainly for getting branches for him.
