Anyone else having trouble teaching a bird to wear a harness? It seems impossible for me.

Rocko and Loki wear harnesses but still make a little fuss when im putting it on but I do get it on and I think the flightsuit was easier.

I've had no luck with it but I've only tried on cockatiels, which is one of the more difficult species to harness train. I don't know whether suns are considered to be a difficult species or not, but with any species it takes some doing. The training videos make it look easy but in real life it's a different stories. It helps to have a natural talent for bird training, which I don't.

Ok. I'm going to try training him with the flight suit instead. I do not like the aviator harness. It's very hard to put on the bird. I'm going to take it very slow. I'm going to condition him to wear it and I'll put it on and reward him and so on.

It's not just you. I don't like it either. I ordered a flight suit. I got it in orange. I had much better success with avian fashion. I'm returning the aviator harness.
