Post subject: Does DNA sexing tell the age of the bird?

Of course, we all know Beaker is a cock, but I just had to guess on his age. I said he was about 6 years old, 7 on December 20th. He acts like a grumpy old man, but can someone presumably as young as B act like that, or could age have a play in that behavior? I would pay to find out his true age.

I really want to know this answer! I have no clue on the age of my birds. Except for Marsh and the 3 little ones. Bio is definitely older than 18 months.

Unfortunately there's no way to determine the age of a bird, except for plumage differences between juveniles and adults.

My avian vet cant tell me how old Drummer is.... I just guess, I think he is an old bird as he likes to sleep a lot of to day.... I don't know of any way to tell.. I've goggled it too, no joy there...
