It sounds like the grandfather on your mother's side will be the best one to work with. The other one might be knowledgeable, but it sounds like he'd be impossible to work with. If I was your mother, I'd tell him I'm a big girl now and don't need his permission to do anything.

My mom doesnt need to ask her father for permission. She needs to tell her father-in-law. If my mom did something to the house without him knowing, and he would find out. Then, he would scream and curse and tell her that she is wasting money (it also hapenns when she does tell him.)

Back to the topic :)

Remember when you said
Quote:
They occupy the same habitat as cockatiels and budgies and have a similar diet, but unlike cockatiels they apparently like fruit.

Does that mean that they will eat the same seeds and pellets I am feeding them right now? I feed the a seed and pellet mix from All Living Things. I remember I made a thread on diets without wheat. I don't need that anymore but you did say info on what you use to make your own seed mix. I will go there and gather what you said and find resources where people sell them.

I love fruits so I bet me and my future POW (Princess Of Wales) would have a fruit salad or two together. :)

Yes, that's what it means! A POW is bigger than a cockatiel so they might also be able to handle some foods that are too big for tiels.

If your father approves, it's none of the father-in-law's business. Even if your father DOESN'T approve, it's still none of the father-in-law's business. It's your parents' house and your parents' money and they get to decide how they want to manage it.
