At least there is a higher chance that she is ;)

Just a question, why does the new owner want a hen badly? Males can sing, talk, and DONT lay eggs. Sure they aren't as cuddly but some are very affectionate.

She doesn't particularly want a girl. I just told her it was a girl from the beginning. The last thing I want is to be wrong :)
