All the chicks will be visual pearl, but the boys will lose the markings when they grow up. Pied is NOT a sex-linked mutation so the rules are the same for boys and girls: they have to get the gene from both parents to be visual pied. They'll all get the gene from Rocko so they'll be at least split to pied, but they need to get the gene from Loki too to be visual pied.

BTW lutino is a sex-linked gene too. We know that Loki definitely doesn't have this gene since she isn't visual lutino, but we can't tell whether Rocko is split to it or not. If he IS split to lutino, he'll give you some lutino daughters.

The birds do have a say in it too of course, and it might take them some time to accept the nestbox and really get revved up for breeding. Have you seen them mating in the past or is it something that they haven't done yet? If they haven't done it before it might take them longer to get going.

Be prepared to hand feed in case they don't want to feed their babies, because sometimes, even if you do everything right, you never know what may happen. Best be prepared for anything.

They have never mated. They cuddle a lot and preen each other.

Great. Just try not to let it get too out of hand. We have enough cockatiels that needs homes already and don't need more.

It can be good over there, but the world is so big. There can be millions of innocent cockatiels that are being irresponsibility bred and produced. I'm just giving a fair warning not to take it too far. Besides, you don't make too much $$ from breeding cockatiels. Their price has dropped from people over breeding them.
