... And seven months old. He lost the spots before the second molt! I don't know why I thought he'd lost them the successive molt when he lost the stripes, obviously I remember it all wrong.
Already showing a bit of yellow in the face but still full of stripy feathers, we thought he was a girl for almost a year

Now, after seeing many pictures of other tiels, I don't think he was very pretty, but for me he was beautiful

He's Mr. Spot Gene all right. The angle was never quite right to see if he had the forehead blaze but he had everything else - the scalloped belly, the underwing speckles, and of course the chest spots!

He is so beautiful! I love is pigeon feet!

Baby#3 also has the "spot gene" he has in on his wings. And the scalloped belly! Does that mean he is split to whiteface? If so, then he has all the possible splits that we can get!

He is a male normal grey split to cinnamon, pearl, Lutino, pied, and possibly split to whiteface!! That's a lot of splits, the most I ever had

Can you post a picture of baby #3 that shows the markings? It does look like he has a blaze on his forehead.

It's possible to have spot gene markings without having the whiteface gene, but it seems like 90% of spot gene babies are at least split to WF. So yes, it's possible that he might be split WF.

Bubu himself should have something of the whiteface, since his brother is a whiteface.
Does that mean that he is possibly split to whiteface? I am so ignorant on mutatons
His entire back is still scalloped. Does that mean anything?
How do I check if he had the forehead blaze? sounds very cool indeed
