I just realized that the calculator input wasn't quite right. Tommy doesn't have three sex-linked splits on the same X chromosome - he has cinnamon on the X he got from dad and lutino pearl on the X he got from mom.

This changes the visual results for the girls quite a lot. The boys will look the same but their sex-linked splits will be different. Here's what the output from the simple calculator should have looked like:

I’m not going to redo the complicated calculator results because it’s time consuming and hard on the eyes. But overall this is how the cinnamon, lutino, and grey coloring will be distributed in the girls:

48.5% lutino
48.5% cinnamon
1.5% cinnamon lutino
1.5% grey

There will be a good number of chicks in each category who are also whiteface and/or pied. Cinnamon and lutino don’t cross over very easily which is why you’ll get so few cinnamon lutino chicks, but pearl crosses over pretty easily. You can expect that about 70% of your lutino chicks will also be pearl, and about 30% of your cinnamon chicks will also be pearl. About 30% of your grey chicks will be pearl, and about 70% of your cinnamon lutino chicks will be pearl.

Take another look at the lutino-cinnamon-grey distribution. All your boys will be grey (in addition to possibly being whiteface and/or pied) but hardly any of your girls will be grey. You’ll be right most of the time if you assume that all grey chicks are male and all non-grey chicks are female. I have the exact same ratios with Buster and Shodu’s chicks, because he’s split to cinnamon on one X and lutino on the other.

I think Silver is yellowcheek.

I think Sliver is a pastelface.

It looks like she's one of those lol. It can be difficult to tell the difference - depending on what other splits and mutations the bird has, YC can look a lot like PF.

I don't know if Tommy and Cloudia are really split to whiteface and pied or if you're just hoping for the best. But Tommy's sex-linked splits are very very real, and you will definitely get lutinos. If he and his mate are both split to whiteface then a quarter of your lutino girls are expected to be whiteface lutinos. Notice that those statistics apply to just the lutino girls, not all the girls or all the babies. If you get him a visual whiteface mate then half your lutino girls will be whiteface lutino.

That's what I have going with Buster and Shodu. She's visual whiteface and he's split to whiteface and lutino. It's expected that about 1/4 (25%) of my girl babies will be whiteface lutino and 1/4 will be plain lutino, and the rest will be cinnamon with a very small percent of grey girls and cinnamon lutinos. 1/8 (12.5%) of all babies will be WFL. Actual results usually don't match the expected results exactly, and my actual percent of WFL has been 10.5% - 4 out of 38 babies. This one (called Scoopi Poo at my son's request lol) might be the most beautiful chick ever born in my house.
