Baby names... the first two that popped into my head were Goober and Toto based on your description of the babies.

I'm starting to sense a thing here...

But I haven't been keeping up on this thread at all! Such big babies now!

They look like cockatiels now.

Middle Child peeking out of the box, Tiny and Whitey in the background.

Two proud parents with Blacktop.

Middle Child (probably, her and Blacktop are identical except for the back of their heads) in the bowl

Tiny and Whitey, who've been a bit shyer about coming out to play

Blacktop got up there and then had no idea what to do next. Middle Child and Yellowtop stare at him. Yellowtop has an "X" on the back of her head that's pretty cool.

Whitey casually knocks a sibling (Middle Child, possibly?) off the telephone wire.

And then we had fun yesterday when a power outage hit while I had all the birds out, leading to me carefully and slowly sliding over to where the flashlights live in pitch darkness with panicked birds flying about. Everyone calmed down except for the babies, so babies and parents had to come upstairs by the window so they could see.

Adorable chicks, and the cage setup in the first picture looks deluxe.

It does take longer for babies to settle down after they've been spooked. I think it's because they're less experienced than the adults and have a harder time telling the difference between a real problem and something that's not a problem.

They are such beautiful babies! Watching these pictures is making my decision more difficult, they are such fun!
