Emma has taken to sitting in the left hand rear corner of the cage, her back up to the corner, and her tail up.

Does this indicate she may want to start laying?

I put a plastic object in that corner this morning, to discourage her from hanging out there. So far, it is working.

Also, she has taken to hanging out on mybbookcase, chewing my books.

Yes, this does sound like nesting behavior. It won't necessarily lead to egg laying but it could. There are simple hormone control techniques that may put a stop to it: http://www.littlefeatheredbuddies.com/i ... mones.html

I read the information. I am going to write down the times I cover them at night and wake them up in the morning so I am sure the nights are long enough.

Today I rearranged their cage.

I will let you know how it goes.

They are such sweethearts, and each one so different from the other two.
