I was kind of hoping that Bitsy would decide not to lay. She was not showing a lot of interest in the nestbox. Now Roscoe has been a different story. He has been mating with her often and has been protecting the nestbox. He screams of you get near it I was out for a while this afternoon and came home to find egg no. one. I hope all goes well.

They've been successful breeders before so it'll probably go pretty well. Keep an eye on the situation of course and make sure she has good nutrition.
