I have never heard of those conures before. And yes, conure bites DO hurt, a lot actually. My aunts 2 little boys went to my room and messed with my bird while I wasn't there. I heard Rio screaming and went to him and saw them there. He was biting me HARD almost the whole day and drew blood once or twice. He ripped my skin with every bite he made but no blood came out. My hands feel sore. He would just randomly take a bite out of me for no reason whatsoever. They seriously hurt. I didn't scream. I gently said ow because I didn't want to encourage him but man did it hurt. Rio is perfectly fine now after I gave him a bath. They really calm him down.

Their bites dont hurt much but it can hurt if they want to hurt you.My Aunt and Uncle only have him 4 days and he talks already on Thursday he was on my uncles shoulder and wouldnt come off and my uncle said step up and was repeating it and cracker said Step Up.

I dont know if I'm too late to say this, but yeah, conure bites REALLY hurt. Here in mexico, there is a species of conures called: Half Moon Conure. My cousin has one of them, and when he plays with him, he's very nice and harmless, but if someone else tries touching him, he gets so aggressive. He took off some flesh off my sister's finger and she bleeded all day. Their beaks are SO powerful and strong they can really wreck things.

This is the bird:
