Oh gosh, how have I not noticed any? I think they would've stood out like a sore thumb. :lol:

There's also that feral population of Quakers in New York. They make these birds so expensive, but they're so harmful to our environment, makes me wonder why we can't catch them, and use them as aviary breeder birds.

I would imagine Cockatiels could make it in AZ. They are designed for the desert-like climate in Australia, so I would imagine they could make it here in the desert. Then again, we have some big hawks, and I would imagine they would be very easy to spot.

Here in Brussels we have a bunch of indian ringnecks! They're wonderfull to look at when they fly by in swarms. To think they established themselves from a few that got released by the owners (or escaped captivity)...

I just noticed something today. I do volunteer data entry for Tucson Audubon's bird surveys. They use the official 4-letter banding codes to identify species, but their database only has codes for species that are reasonably expected to be seen in Arizona. There's a code for peach-faced lovebirds in the Tucson Audubon database lol. It's PFLO.
