I don't think I have ever mentioned this here but for months now I have been researching on breeding and I am hoping to breed next year and ill have so much space then for the babies and they will be raised by their parents (I don't think I could hand rear but my mam has experience if one of the babies are abandoned.I know Male cockatiels reach sexual maturity at 12-13 months and Females at 18 months,Rocko is 18 months old now and Loki is around 16-17 months old maybe older.
Also I have a strange question well maybe not strange lol but Loki has been acting weird all morning I am lying on my bed and she is flying over to me and then sitting on my bed and walking around on it,usually she is with Rocko and the reason why I think its weird is because Loki never flies over to me unless she followed Rocko if he flew to me and she does not have a bond with anyone.And I didn't wanna make a separate thread just to say this little thing but Mango is so cute eating his lentil sprouts with his feet.

Breeding is a big responsibility, but it sounds like you're preparing yourself for it. I don't know why Loki is flying to you. Maybe she's feeling friendly toward you, or maybe she's interested in the way the bed looks right now lol.

I think Loki flew to you to say that you need to provide a nest box for them :)
(this is just a joke of course)

let me ask.
Do you have a clear understanding what you will do with the babies when they are older?

When they are older they will go to their homes.I have been thinking of keeping one since its their child and it would be cute just looking at them as parents and they have a child.And ill have much more space too if I wanted to keep one.
