The birds, of course. Now that I feel like everything in my house is calm and will stay like this for a while, I wanted to breed the budgies. But of course, I need information. What do you guys recommend?

Satchimo and Meema have been really close lately, they offer each other scritches and are almost inseparable, so I guess that tells me they can breed.

Aren't your birds not allowed inside? I don't think your parents would enjoy having chicks. They are a lot of work and can be messy. Do you go to school? Definitely don't breed of you are in school. If anything happens you won't be able to help the chicks. And anyways, aren't there already an overpopulation with cockatiels? Are you going to keep the chicks? If not, then why breed? It's not something that should be done for fun. It's takes a lot of responsibility and effort. I'm not trying to discourage you, I just want you to see the full picture before you decide to bring more chicks to the world. It was a very interesting experience with having chicks and definitely wasn't all fun around. There are some ups and downs that come with it. It should be thought long and hard before you breed.

How old are the budgies? I thought Meema was very young.

My birds are allowed to be in my room now, but what you said about me being busy in school and not being there to help is true, and it kinda bugs me.

Meema is young, but I was planning on doing it later. I just want some things to get started with, some "knowledge" about the subject.

IMO it would be best to wait until next year. At that point you'll know for sure that the birds are old enough, and you can spend the year learning things and letting your parents get used to the idea of you breeding birds.
