Sweet Pea is in a nesty mood big time. she has 3 normal sized eggs and the last egg is teeny tiny. I candled it because of the size, there is no yolk inside. she is in a semi nest box (modified cardboard box) because she needs her privacy. she had dummy eggs and keep on laying in spite of the dummys. I am worried and my vet is not back until Weds. I hate to do this but it's the only way to show you all the eggs.

That's a teeny egg. Nice to see the picture. I guess there is no possibility it could have come from another bird?

This isn't unusual, and it's not a problem. The hen's body lays down enough eggshell to cover the material that's there, and if there's less than usual the egg will be tiny. Yolkless eggs do happen sometimes, often enough for them to have nicknames like rooster eggs, fairy eggs and fart eggs.

she laid a normal size egg last night. I wish she would be more interested in stopping laying. she isn't eating enough to keep a gnat alive. she is getting calcium and soft foods but she is not interested in anything but covering those eggs.

They can be very dedicated. Can you put food in a place where she can reach it while she's sitting on the eggs? She might eat more that way.

her vet is my cousin and my cousin just had carpel tunnel surgery. she out of the clinic for 4 weeks. she was primary PT appt. and stopped over to see Sweet Pea. she brought quick calcium blood test and calcium if she needed it. after getting her out of the nest box and clip of a talon, few drops of blood. the test came back low so while Mama held Sweet Pea, she got shot. and I got bitten. she is doing much better tonight and has been out eating and pooping and drinking water.
