That's the cockatiel cover, isn't it? I had suspicions that she was looking at it as a possible nest site.

yeah and the tiels are cold and molting heavy... im not taking the cover off, but i will have to make sure she knows its a no go zone... so gotta find something to put there to keep her off lol shes a determined bird however so this will be difficult

Is she afraid of the dreaded gingerbread man? You could put it on top of the cage cover where the tiels can't see it.

Dang, that really limits the possibilities. I don't suppose you'd want to use those spikes that stores put up to keep pigeons from sitting around the entrance bombing the customers:
