Keep in mind that I'm not an expert on ferny crests lol. It looks like Beaker has the ferniest crest here, but Bubu and Cloudia seem to be fairly ferny too. I've definitely seen crests that were less ferny.
I can just imagine everyone running out and telling all their friends "Guess what! My bird is fairly ferny!". The friends would definitely have a puzzled look on their face.

Kids my age refer to cockatiels as "the one with the mohawk." And I told one parakeets are called budgies by the rest of the world, and it's incorrect in America. They asked then, why are they called parakeets? I told them a parakeet is bird with a long tail. So then they called them a budgie parakeet. Oy...
