Oh Baruch, me too. I've been having anxiety attacks since last Saturday. Don't know why for sure, but I think it's my hormones all over the place or something.

Jokes apart, the worst season is starting, for people who suffers with periodic depression.
It took a while for me to realise that fall and especially winter months were when depression would kick in with a vengeance. My sister is the same as me and we researched a lot about seasonal depressions.

These weeks have been hard for me too, anxiety-wise, I put it down to having had a stressful trip and all the worries about my flock.
Maybe you guys are too young for medications, that's probably a good thing.

Seems stupid but the best thing to do during a panic attack is breathing in a paper bag for a few minutes. Try and let me know if it works for you guys!

I, too, get more depressed in the winter months. Because I am already feeling a little low, I am concerned (I am under treatment).

I try to keep things around that are mood elevators. This definitely includes the birds. They always make me smile.

Ah yes, Seasonal Affective Disorder. Light boxes can help, but they're a bit expensive. I'm planning on getting one and sticking it in the bird room so we can all enjoy the light together.
