I only vaguely remember The Gong Show, wasn't that the one where the act would come out on stage and if they were terrible, the gong would be... gonged or whatever and the curtains would drop? Or something like that?

Yes, that was the one. Some of the terrible acts were more fun than the good ones.

I agree! I assumed they would grow out but they're still there, obviously, so maybe he'll keep them? Is it a split to pearl thing or is it just one of those things?

Wow. He changed so much! I think its from being pied.

I agree, it's like he's a different bird but due to him being pied (not split) he shouldn't have changed at all. His face should have stayed the same color. He must have gotten enough of the pied "juice" to give him clear primaries and spots here and there but not enough to stop the face from turning yellow as he matured.
