Those budgies really get me right in the heart! If only it would work to mix them in with Peach I'd get a pair but if it didn't work I'd have no where to move them.

English budgies are cockatiel-friendly birds and any of the grass parakeets.

Not necessarily. English budgies have a greater chance of getting along with cockatiels than american budgies, but they're budgies, and while they have a similar disposition to cockatiels, they can still be feisty like american budgies.

Although other grass parakeets are a good possibility. Now, a great parakeet to have are bourke's parakeets. I LOVE them. They are so small, dainty and pink! They are seriously cockatiels in a parakeet body and have been proven to be great company for tiels. Bourke's are smaller than budgies and a lot calmer. Some even like scritches.

The Princess of Wales parakeet that I babysat for a few weeks got along nicely with the tiels.
