Obi comes out of the cage now, will step up on my hand, is still a little nervous, but heyyy he is coming along well... Ive never had a bird that would each fresh fruit, but Obi does: so far, apple pear, peach and corn on the cob...
He will try anything I give him...

He's a gorgeous boy, and you're really lucky that he'll eat fruit! Most cockatiels don't like it.

I had 2 tiels for many years until just before Christmas,
when 1 died in my hands, the other died a few months
later... both were my pride joy...
I only have the 1 tiel now, 3 Parrotlets,2 budgies...

My luv in birds is a tiel.... I serve corn on the cob, cooked, and
on a skewer (A bird one), I buy fresh ones and cut in 2 or 3
once cooked... you can also hang from the cage top, or
on the floor of the cage in a dish. Or wherever you serve fresh
veggies to your bird... Sometimes I cut the corn off for a change...
Obi my new teil will eat anything I give him so far...hope this helps.
