I was going to sell these guys off, but my little girl (9 years old) Wanted them.

We came to an agreement. During vacations she'll feed them and look after them. When she's at school, I'll make sure they get fresh water and food. When the cage needs cleaning, I get her to do it! Never to early to start :-) (I do supervise)

She gave them names: Witje (means little White)

And Blauwtje (means little blue)

As you can see it's about time they get a new newspaper to put the droppings on :bigsmile100:

Also I sexed them as males, but if any of you would like to have a look and agree or disagree with me, that would be helpfull to help me get better at judging... Thx!

They're hens :D They're lovely! What mutation is the blue? The wings look like they have some frosting to them!

Now now, you don't expect an idiot to know these things now do you?

Sad to report that upon our arrival back from vacation Witje died. I can't really blame my mother, since you can already see in the picture I put up she's a bit under the weather...

I haven't told my daughter yet. I don't think I will, she'd be to heartbroken.

I am so sorry. She was very beautiful. Poor little girl, your daughter.

RIP Little White
