I put this up about a week ago, and the birds showed zero interest in it. I thought it was a flop. But, today Silver got halfway up it.

What a cute swing, I've never seen one like that before! Sometimes birds need a little time to get used to something new before they want to play with it.

One of the birds (Emma, I think) managed to chew off one of the rungs on the top part of the ladder. So, the toy is definitely a hit. Everyone has been on it, sometimes two birds at a time. It has also been the subject of a few heated arguments.

They really do love it if they're fighting over it! Maybe it's because it's up high. It looks like you might be able to put some kind of playstand on top of the cage if you wanted to create more perching space.

A tree branch screwed to the top of the cage would be nice and stable, if you can find one that goes in the right direction. Finding a suitable branch in a bird-safe tree and cutting it yourself is a good way to get custom-made perches.
