I had the same problem with Emma about a year ago. Then, with Silver and Emma about two months ago. In each case, I decided to have them get a light clip from the vet. Then, I was able to get them into the cage fairly easily, and then make it a very positive thing, as Carolyn said. When the wings grew back, the training was maintained.
Just before I decided to clip both of them about two months ago, I had the sense that they were really, really enjoying the game of "catch me if you can," and it was probably reinforcing the behavior of flying away.
