It was a happy Father's Day for Mr. Vlad. One of his eggs hatched today.

It's actually a foster egg, since he can't figure out how to mate. I haven't kept track of how many foster chicks he's raised, but it's probably 15 or 20. The egg that hatched yesterday was the fifth one in the clutch that he's currently taking care of, and there's one more to go.
The eggs actually belong to Buster and Shodu. They got to raise most of the first clutch themselves, but I gave the whole second clutch to Vlad and Mims. I know Buster and Shodu would feather-pick the babies, but Vlad and Mims don't do this.
