Yes, that was one of the reasons I chose Danny. I was thinking of unisex names, and I thought Danny suited him. Double points because I happen to like an artist named Danny. If I find out he's a hen at some point, I'm still probably going to keep the spelling the same. Dani sounds more feminine, but eh.

If you're into Game of Thrones and Danny turns out to be a girl, the name could morph into Daenerys. For those who don't watch Game of Thrones, it's pronounced like Dan-EER-iss.
