Levy and Maple mated. Everything was going fine until a bird made everyone in the aviary go crazy. At least I know Levy mates correctly when they were doing it.

These 2 birds were the ones that I would never breed. Levy seemed only interested in Marshmallow and me and Maple was the random girl in the aviary that never socialized. Actually, I think that was the first time I have seen her socialize with a bird.

Levy has been very interested in Maple today. He still is singing to Marshmallow but he also has been singing to Maple a lot. I feel like he is slowly going to give up from Marshmallow and move on to Maple. I'll pair them up on May and give them the nest on June and let them breed over the summer. It's going to be fun breeding this season. I'm excited. I hope to get some whitefaces and pieds.

It's nice to hear that a bird with a fetish for his mother can get over it and pair up with an unrelated hen. Do you think Levy could give Henry lessons on how to do this?

Maybe Levy can give Henry a lesson on how to grow a crest too.

The instructions on "how to stay away from your mother" would solve the crest problem too. He keeps asking her to preen his head and she takes it as an invitation to yank his crest out.
