We all know I want my own tiny house, and I designed my own prototype on what I would like my house to look like. Image

Except the aviary would be bigger.

The Idaho aviary is getting spoken about less and less I'm afraid. I haven't heard a thing about Idaho in weeks.

So, could I mix different species if it's large enough? Like budgies, bourkes and tiels?

Budgies, bourkes and tiels sounds like a fairly safe combination, although you'd need to be on the lookout for bullies and troublemakers. Mixing lovebirds and parrotlets with other species is a big no no, and mixing large birds with small birds can be dangerous too.

Your aviary is going to be larger than your house lol.

Darn right. My birds need more space than I do. I think I found where I'm going to live if we don't go to Idaho. Remember where I got the manzanita? That's Forest Hill. And I'm sure that's where I'm going. Perfect temperature year round, surrounded by forests, live in a small town under 1000 in population, and land for my tiny house. Really nice land for not very much. Probably because it's notorious for hiding drug dealers, but besides that it fits all of my qualifications.

Wow what dinky house!
Easy to clean or heat....
Good mix of birds for an aviary...
NEVER....P'lets as they would attach all birds, small or large....
When is all this taking place?
Or is it your dream in time?

Jan, just a dream. Hopefully to take place soon. Even if I move I'm still building a tiny house, but if I don't, I know where I'm going to put it in California.

I'm not sure if tiny houses are a big thing in the UK, but in the US they are a big trend lately.

I personally like big houses. My house is pretty big. That's a really cool design though, it would be cool if the birds can come indoors if they want.

I believe in living simply. There's a saying in the tiny house community, "you can only live in one room at a time."

The birds will be able to come in if they want. Big houses are nice, but I feel it's wasteful of me to have such a big, expensive place when I don't need or want one. Not everybody is on board with the tiny house movement.

that works for single people only. Do you plan to be single forever?
Any plans for college? (just kidding)
I understand that at the early age people often have valuables that are different from older people LOL

I would love to have a larger house than we have right now. Ours is not small and pretty much perfect for 3 humans, but not enough for having a flock of birds.
