Funny enough, none of my birds enjoy misting. Alex and Lucy prefer to bathe in a container, my mom's finch has been known to bathe in the water bowl as soon as it's given fresh water (it's mate also did this during the time it was alive), and Dudley prefers it when we flick droplets at him. He will also bathe in his water bowl.
Once I filled one of the tiny food dishes from the tiels' playstand with water. Lucy decided that she wanted to use that water for bathing rather than drinking, but it wasn't big enough for her to get in. So all she really did was dip her head in and then shake it, flinging water all over the place.

And yes, autocorrect is very unhelpful at times. When I'm on my laptop, it always tells me that "cockatiel" is spelled wrong. Upon right clicking the word, the only option to change it to is "cockatrice".
No google, my birds are NOT mythical creatures who have the head of a rooster and body of a dragon, and are capable of turning people into stone.
Needless to say, I think my birds are much cuter.
