I can't remember whether we get blue crowns at the Tucson bird mart or not. I'll have to try and remember to watch out for them.

If you're ever in Riverside CA, I hear that this place is amazing: http://www.magnoliabirdfarms.com/ I want to stop by and see them next time I'm in California.

I'm just thinking that breeding maybe 1 or 2 princesses will help you and another people. We have so many cockatiel stores but very little princesses. I bet you can sell them to a numerous amount of people.

I don't mean to drag this thread to another direction. I just had this idea and thought it was pretty good.

Blue Crowns are SO rare. I barely see them anywhere. I'm going to go to Simbads bird shop for some food for Rio. I'm going to keep a look out for some BCC's.

If you find some, you might end up being a BCC breeder!

This website couldn't find any BCCs for sale in Florida:

But this one says there are feral populations in Florida and Southern California: http://blogs.thatpetplace.com/thatbirdb ... vg2E3o8U-g

How convenient that the BCC fans in this group live in Florida and California!

The next Tucson bird mart is on April 24, four weeks from today: http://www.astbirdclub.org/

The spring bird mart isn't as big as the fall bird mart because a lot of the babies aren't ready to be sold yet. But it's a lot bigger than the summer bird mart where you got Coco!

You're in a big city (or near it anyway) so I'm surprised that you don't have something better.

Here's a list of Florida bird events in 2016: http://www.exoticbirdevents.com/bird-events.htm

There might be others too. If you google for Florida pet bird clubs, you'll find websites that might be able to tell you about a bird club in your area, and they could probably tell you about nearby bird marts. Florida has a huge population and it's a very good place for bird breeders because of the warm climate, so there ought to be something that's not too far away.
