I'm so glad that you got her back!! I was really worried about the leash, she could have gotten into serious trouble with that so easily.

Do you have those D-rings? I have no idea what they're really called, but they're like clips, the kind that mountain climbers use to attach their supplies? Whatever. Those would be very handy for you with multiple birds. You could just clip the leash to the rings onto your pants so you have a little extra security.

I am surprised that even having all of you in sight, she still chose to fly away. I always thought that birds get lost when they are disoriented (they don't recognize the surroundings) but it wasn't probably this situation.
Could you tell me what happened right after she got loose? Did she just fly away from all of you? maybe she got scared of something...
I think sometimes: what happens if one of my birds gets outside the aviary when they are outside? I always think that the bird would hopefully cling to the outside of the aviary wall to stay close to the flock but I can't be sure of course

There was sort of a disturbance going on because another bird (Rio) had fallen to the ground. He probably did some flapping on the way down, and when one bird flies they all tend to take off. There might have been something else going on too that startled the birds and made them take off. They don't understand what's going on in a human neighborhood the way that we do, and might be spooked by something that the humans take so much for granted that we don't even notice it.
