She probably "checked" other boards and found this thread. Boards are read by a lot of people, and you don't have to be a member to read most forums, and it is certainly possible that somebody reads and then wants to join the conversation (for example tielfan joining the other board), so her suspicions IMO means she read this thread.

She wasn't on this thread I told her that I know Carolyn.

P.S. While the discussion was going on I didn't want to play along with the attempt to change the subject with topics like B12 production. But just for funsies I looked up the location of B12 production in birds this morning. Here's the info in case anyone is interested. http://articles.extension.org/pages/653 ... ive-system"the ceca produce several fatty acids as well as the eight B vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, pyridoxine, biotin, folic acid, and vitamin B12). Because the ceca are located so close to the end of the digestive tract, however, few of the produced nutrients are absorbed and available to the chicken." Most birds and herbivore mammals have ceca, which are located at the point where the small intestine connects to the colon (large intestine). Parrots don't have ceca because they've 'learned' to get by without them, but their digestive process is similar to other species in all other respects so they'll have their B12 production in this same region. I didn't realize that so many other B vitamins were produced here too, so B12 might not be the only reason a bird might want to eat poop. But seeds and grains are pretty good at providing most B vitamins.

That's crazy. Don't play with birds vitamin needs. I agree on you staying out of it. She hasn't supported any of he claims she has made.

Haha. It's true that she gets defensive with other people when they question her statements but she piped down when you showed up.
