I can't find those Oat Sprays anywhere! Even tried Amazon.com but received the dreaded message that that seller doesn't ship outside the US.
I will print the picture of the pack and show it around, maybe I will find something similar.
My guys love eating hanging stuff too, and that would have a great success.

If you have a back yard, you could always try throwing some oat groats in a place where the wild birds won't get it all and see what happens. I manage to grow some seeds on the stalk for my birds that way, even though I live in the land of blast-furnace heat. The canary grass seed seems to do the best but I think maybe I got one sprig of oats last year. Also some safflower, something I can't quite identify, and some sorghum. Unripe sorghum seed is the #1 favorite food of wild cockatiels according to this study and my guys love it too: http://www.littlefeatheredbuddies.com/i ... ology.html

I also recommend a miniature greenhouse. I have one and it is fantastic. I grow my herbs in there, and I've also grown sprouts in it. It only cost me $20 and I think it's well worth it.

Stephanie, do you keep it inside the house? I need to find a way to grow things indoors, a little greenhouse in the bird room would look great! Heavily locked of course lol

Yes. It is very tiny. Mine is only about the size of a couch armrest. Although it is flimsy, so the bird room may not be the best spot if your birds like to destroy your material possessions.

Are there any birds who DON'T like to destroy your material possessions? It was the favorite hobby of every bird that I've ever had.

My visa application would have some people scratch their heads... What is your reason to want to visit? Answer: "To do some shopping. Oat spray, Sorghum, reasonably priced Nutriberries"

Milo is an alternate name for sorghum, and you might be able to find it locally under that name. Here in the US it's the main ingredient in the cheapest wild bird seed, the kind that birdfeeding experts tell you to avoid. But out here in the West the wild birds LOVE it and prefer it over more expensive seed. So I buy cheap seed and throw it out for the wild birds, and I get a little bit of sorghum sprouting up from the seeds that the quail accidentally kicked under a bush.

A word of warning though, do NOT sprout sorghum/milo and feed the sprouts to your birds. Sorghum is safe at most stages, but the sprout stage is loaded with prussic acid which is toxic.
