Last week the number of active members was basically zero. Someone would come on every now and then asking for advice, but the forum was basically dead when I inherited it several years ago and not much had changed since then. But it looks like now we finally have an opportunity to bring it back to life again and I hope it works out. This was a great little forum once upon a time.

The other day I made a massive order mostly for the tiels, somethng new like amaranth and millet popcorn and other old favourites.

My guys love sesame seeds aswell, and HATE cashews.
Sometimes I add a little bt of chia seeds.

They still like eggfood, I reduced the quantity I am giving them though.

I think these are the most spoiled birds in the entire universe

That DOES look like quite a spread lol. My guys are just getting oat sprays for Christmas because they already have everything else that they're willing to eat.

They LOVE to eat seeds on the stalk. In the winter I throw bird seed in the yard trying to put it in places where the wild birds won't find it, in hopes that it will turn into plants in the spring. The climate here is pretty harsh in the summer but some of the seed does actually grow, and the tiels reap the benefits.

I got those oat sprays at Petsmart. There's another brand that's made for bunnies and rodents. I would have bought that one too but I can't find it in the local stores.

The 'All Living Things' brand is available at Petsmart. My local store had it on the shelf, and it's on their website at http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.j ... Id=4353872 You might be able to find it in other places too.

The 'Brown' brand is on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/F-M-Browns-Tropic ... 008GEFW0K/ It's cheaper at Foster & Smith if you buy enough other stuff to qualify for free shipping. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/p ... 3865&rel=1
