omg Zippi is so beautiful! I love greys more than any other mutation, they are so elegant!
Drummer is gorgeous!
You don't want to post his plucked version? I have one of mines who was plucked as a baby and still looks like a little vulture... she is beautiful to me! They aren't embarrassed, why should we? :D

I don't have any pics of Zippi as he is now....
I'm not embarrassed, just doesn't look very nice even tho he is to me...I'm use to his look.
Will charge my camera battery and take some this weekend..
Just need to work out how to get them onto this laptop! Oh I wish I was Technic :cheery:

I assume that he's plucking himself. Have you been able to figure out why?

Zippi wont stop plucking his feathers now, he has done
it since he was 3/4 months old.. He is now 12 years old..
Tried everything and seem Avian Vets...nothing or no-one can say why he does it... Its like a person who bites their nails..a very bad habit, I cant break..
I've come to the conclusion over the years, it could be in his genes... maybe from his mum or dad, just don't know... I've learnt to live with him like this...he is a clever bird talks well,
is very happy and most contented... so what more can I ask?

It's not common for cockatiels to pluck for psychological reasons, but there are a few that do and maybe he's one of them. If he's happy and healthy that's all he really needs.
