Beaker is adorable!!! such a chatterbox, I am jealous. My guys are nothing like that! They yell and please let's not talk about the girls, they are so shrill

That is just hilarious! They are good boys even in the moment of passion! You definitely trained them well :D

Bio knows Georgie and Quinn's mating song perfectly! It's accually very funny to see because he sings the cock and hens part at the same time!

Does Georgie like to vocalize during "the act"? Most males are silent while they're getting it on but I've heard of exceptions. The funniest one was a male cockatiel who liked to say "good boy" over and over while he was mating.

OMG that's so funny

My Georgie made some noise. How do you know which one is making which noise? Do your birds move their mouth? It looks like their kissing?

I can see the hen's mouth moving while they're mating. The cock has his beak clamped shut and he's focused on not falling off the hen's back lol.

In my flock, both of the birds move their beaks, then after you can see the hen head go up, and the cocks head go down and they both make kissing movements with their beak
It looks like the cock is feeding the hen which in this case the hen is the chick

I knew a pair of budgies who would mate and kiss at the same time. They were extreme multitaskers who like to get their business done right apparently.

With budgies, it's customary for the male to feed the female as part of the courtship ritual. Although I don't know whether they usually do this WHILE they're mating! With cockatiels it's NOT customary for the male to feed the female, but there are a few that do it. And who knows, maybe for these few it IS customary to do it while mating.

My cockatiels weren't feeding each other, their mouths were just touching that it looked like they were feeding each other :)
