Beaker: Well, he learned how to open the cage door himself, so now it's cable tied shut. He always was smart. He's also gotten a bit more territorial towards me. For example, when I lay on the floor while they are out, B would always chew on my clothes or hair and whenever Jaid would come by and want to climb on me, B will chase him away. It's actually a nice change. Usually Jaid snaps at Beaky, so I approve of him standing up for himself.
Jaid: He is in the process of learning the Hunger Games whistle. Whenever I try to get him to whistle it back, he will do one note then beak bang in frustration. It's quite comical.
Beck: I can know kiss him with my lips through the cage bars. He will jump to the front and I can do it. And sometimes I can stroke his tail if it sticks out. I am so proud of Speck. This is a very big step for him!
Poptart: I have him sitting next to Specky's cage and I plan to move them together this week and I hope Speck will teach Poppy not to be so timid. He gets frightened when I walk by in the room where Beck is. He wasn't afraid of me in my room, but in this new room with lots of commotion, he's more timid. But he's fine when I talk in the voice he likes and will inch closer. He also started to play with his toys finally.
