Since Charlie disliked me so much, My coordinator found him a home with a gentleman who will only have him, at least for now, to care for.

I know it's the best for him, but I'm devastated
Even in this very short time I had him with me I got to love him, and loved to spend time making things for him, hear him chatting and singing. He was in my bedroom so I woke up this morning expecting to see him and instead there was just the empty table.

I hope with all my heart that he's going to be happy again in his new home, he deserve it so much!

Oh, it's good that you did what was best for Charlie. How many others do you have?

You did what's best for him. Even though it hurts.

I don't know what to say to express my feelings that you did everything you could.

It does hurt to give them away. But remember, it was definitely for the best. Sometimes the right thing will hurt. I'm sorry again.

Thank you everyone, I really miss him.

I have 8, Dianne, in theory I shouldn't even notice, with so many flapping around... But he made such a big difference, maybe because he needed all that extra care.

First thing Bubu did today was exploring the room very thoroughly to make sure he wasn't hidden anywhere, checking all Charlie's favourite hangouts, then he plopped on my shoulder, started gumming and fell happily asleep.
He is so selfish.

I understand. Sometimes I think about how much I want to succeed with Emma. Why not just enjoy the ones that are easy? I think the challenge makes one more attached.

I have four birds now. I was in the local pet store buying food, and they had several new budgies. It was soooo tempting! I keep repeating: I have enough birds; I have enough birds.
