I have a second cage ouside in our gazebo for Peach. She LOVES being out there. It is completely enclosed so she gets a lot of flying in. The problem is I need to catch her and carry her to and from. As soon and I catch her and start kissing her she is totally fine but she hates the catching part. Both going out in the morning and coming in at night. She really gets upset. Any thoughts? Otherwise she is inside all day while I'm outside.

Do you have a small carrier that you could use to transport her? You could start out using it as a place to deliver treats, then once she's used to it you could put her in, give her a treat, and carry her to the destination.

I've looked at the travel cages and they are expensive. I started out doing what you suggested with her cage that's in the gazebo. It worked going out but not coming back inside the house at night. Maybe I can find a carry cage on Craig's List.

It doesn't have to be anything fancy, and many pet shops will have small carriers in stock for less than $20. Here are a couple of examples on Amazon:

Those travel cages look great! I hope you can solve the problem with Peach. :)

I'm pretty sure Peach wouldn't go in these. One is like a cat carrier which I have. I'm going to try it. Thanks!

You can gradually get her used to it by putting treats outside the door for her to nibble, then slowly move the treats inside.

She hasn't been out all day today. When I put my finger up for her to come she won't do it now. I didn't press it at all today. I hope I haven't lost her trust in me.

She'll get over it. Just keep being sweet to her.

Well...I'm trying it. I brought the outside cage in and put her dish in. She has been climbing around on the outside of the cage looking in. I think this might work. :)
