I had this thread on the old forum, and decided to continue it on this one too. For you who do not know, Sunshine is my moms budgie. We are pretty confident that he is a girl. My sister and I bought him for my mom on her birthday ( December 5 ) and he has been doing pretty good ever since. Recently Sunshien has learned to bark like a dog, and starts barking when the dog starts barking. He used to do a high pitch sqeak, but now the bark has replaced his high pitched sqeak. Sunshine has been getting more and more docile everyday. He will now openly come out of his cage in a closed room( like the bath room, or the computer room with the door closed) and will fly aroudn the bathroom, and play on stuff. On time he even landed on the light fixture in the bathroom( it was a 2 fixture one, so there was a small rod connecting them, so it was like a perch) , and another time he landed on a black and blue and yellow car magazine, and we couldn't find him because he blended in.

I thought I was the only one who could loose my bird on the cover of some magazine, guess I was wrong. Can't wait for some pics of the little guy.

Well, Sunshine's Face is starting to change colors too. It is going from bright yellow to and orangy brown. Pics Commign right up ( after school though)

Her face is changing colors?!? I didn't think that budgies did that.

i think ive seen them do it. ace ann's budgie changed. she was like all yellow to a yellow green (or the other way around)

i told me mo mam about that. And she didn't notice that yesterday. She said it could be cherry. We gave him some small peices of cherry, and he loved them. S/he even tried to to feed it to her mirror.
