We sold every single one of Pippin's and JJ's chicks today, including the two still in the nest. A breeder is taking Yellowtop and the two in the nest (she's going to be picking them up in a week for handfeeding). An elderly man took Tiny. Another man took both Blacktop and Middle Child.

I'm relieved they all found homes, but I'm also sad to see them go.

Yep, we kept Whitey. She'll probably be rechristened Himalaya.

I know the feeling. I love the chicks while they're with me and I'm sad to see them go, but at the same time it's a relief when they're gone.
