Piper has a funny way of screeching when something happens that he doesn't like. If I offer my finger, he will fly away and screech twice as he flies. Sometimes he just seems to screech that way just for the fun of it. I find it kind of funny that he screeches while he is flying. He was just feeding Emma. Then, he took of screeching, flew around the room, and went back to her.

Do your budgies do this?

Yes! That sound is called an 'ack'. Budgies do that when they're annoyed. Mine do it.

My favorite is that Coyote has picked up the budgies' ack-ack-ack in whistle form. It's way less annoying than the original ack-ack but still a little annoying. It's part of his regular song medley now. If you're happy and ACK ACK ACK bang! bang! pretty bird! pretty bird! If you're happy and you and so on.

If you ever manage to get a video of that, be sure to post it here!
