Both Emma and Silver will fly a short distance to me if I show them that I have seeds. However, I discovered this afternoon that Silver will fly to me on command, even if he is not looking my way and even if I don't have seeds.

I try to keep them off the floor. So, if they are down there I go over and pick him up (and chase her) off the floor. Silver was wandering around on the floor while I was watching TV and I tried calling him. Right away he looked, walked across the floor, and flew up to me. Of course, I made a big fuss over him.

Both mine do it. I never intended to teach them that but they learned it. It is pretty neat when they fly to you. Except with Jaiden. He smacks you in the face when he's coming in for landing.

That's cool. My birds dont fly on command but when my Marshmallow takes off and flies in circles around the room, she will always fly to my finger. It's so cool when she does it.

I wish my guys were more like that... the only way to have them come to me at command is to make a rustling noise with a piece of plastic or paper... they think FOOD and I get instantly covered in birds
