So the bromance is sort of over right now as Ninja is wooing Cloud like crazy but she doesn't while she allows him to preen her and feed her, she wants nothing to do with him in that, you know, area. She's still all about the cage bars though. Poor Cloud, she's getting harassed by a very persistent Ninja though, which is obvious by that high pitched chatter thing they do when they're mad but not ack-ack-ack mad. She does that whenever he's trying to mount her which is like ALL THE TIME. Waffles is left out in the cold, singing and head bobbing to inanimate objects.
I guess I could start covering their cage to decrease daytime hours and that would take care of that but the harassment only really seems to happen when they're outside of the cage. I dunno why. Basically their out of cage time consists of Cloud going to the swing and Ninja saying, "Works for me, baby!" and then Cloud scurrying to the top of the cage and Ninja saying, "Works for me, baby!" and then Cloud scurrying to the cage door and Ninja saying, "Works for me, baby!" and so on.
Separating them is not an option, as Ninja is too aggressive right now to bunk with Coyote. He's turned into a little menace!

Isn't it fun living in the middle of a bird soap opera?

Can I have Waffles? I swear my little budgies just head bob all day long. Either that or get right in Beaker's face. And head bob.
