I am now a sun conure owner. It's only been a few hours but I'm already in love with this guy. He is making himself at home in my room. He makes the cutest bird sounds EVER! I love him so much.

I'm glad you were able to make a decision. This little fellow looks cute but so helpless!!

If he's in your room he'll bond with you pretty well I guess.

He already looks more developed than the picture you showed me a few hours ago! I wonder what his name will be.

He is very cute! How old is he? Do you handfeed him? He doesn't seem to be in the post-weaning age (I may be wrong though)

Definitely an unweaned baby, but B is an experienced handfeeder so it's OK. What a cutie!

It's a lot of fun having a different species. Dweezil cracks me up with all his funny noises. It sounds like we're in deepest Africa even though he's an Australian parrot - very different from the sounds the cockatiels make. I've been trying to get a video but he always stops just as I'm ready to shoot.

He is unweaned and is around 4 weeks old. He got used to the place already and makes such cute noises. Here is a video:

So cute, and so different sounding from a cockatiel! Do you think you'll be able to keep him in the house after he's weaned?

Maybe. I'm not sure yet. I got a video of his dinner feeding. Sorry for the weird video angle. My sister took it vertical instead of horizontal which makes it small on YouTube. I'll get a better high quality video next time.

He's got such cute sounds!

He's a pretty clean eater too. Some of my tiel chicks eat nicely like that, and others bob their heads so much that there might be more formula on the outside of the chick than the inside.
